FAYE WHYTE (SHE/HER)

DVM

Dr. Faye earned her honours DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 1999, after completing her B.Sc. at the University of Toronto.

Upon graduation, this ‘army brat’ returned to the Kingston area to work as a small animal veterinarian. She became the practice owner at Richmond Veterinary Clinic in 2007 and opened Land O’Lakes clinic in Northbrook in 2011. She is a huge proponent of low-stress handling of our patients. Dr. Faye loves making sure the team at the clinic has great equipment to work with in a beautiful facility. And coffee.

Her home is just north of Kingston, shared with cats, a dog, and her family. She enjoys creative writing and knitting, and keeps trying but failing at camping.

HEATHER DEMILLE (SHE/HER)

DVM

Dr. Heather is our cat whisperer. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI, in 1995, after earning her B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Guelph in 1991

She began small animal practice in the Kingston area shortly after graduation, and joined our practice in 2003. Since then, she has developed a special interest in surgery and feline medicine, loves continuing education, and has been a member of the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) since 2011. She is currently studying advances in diagnostic imaging.

Her perfect workday would be challenging surgical cases interspersed with kitten visits and the odd grumpy old cat. With a little music on the side.

She is an accomplished weight lifter, loves to travel with her family and can be tempted to sit still with dark chocolate, a cat on her lap and a good book.

JENNIFER WEEKS-LLERA (SHE/HER)

DVM

Dr. Jennifer graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2008. She pursued a veterinary internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital in Florida and worked in the Chatham area before settling in Kingston and joining our practice in 2015.

She finds her work most rewarding when she can alleviate stress and pain in her patients and educate their owners regarding pet health. She has a special interest in behaviour problems, and has the patience and dedication to work through complex medical diagnoses. She is also taking CE so she can utilize our ultrasound equipment to help our patients.

In her off hours, you might find her introducing her daughter to equestrian sports or enjoying rally obedience, agility and scent detection with her dogs.
