Our Technicians

SAM (SHE/HER)
RVT/OFFICE MANAGER
Samantha has been with RVC since she started as a high school co-op student in 2008. Since then, she completed her studies at St. Lawrence College, obtained her RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) designation, and relocated to Alberta and back again
Sam finds great satisfaction in the long-term relationships we build here with patients and their people. She enjoys her days in the surgical suite, but can also be found making time to give that special pet their favourite treat. She’s our go-to gal for nutrition recommendations and does a great job keeping the special order and backorder lists straight.
When she’s not here, Sam loves to spend time with her family, relaxing at the cottage, and sharing her love of horseback riding with her daughter.

KRISTA (SHE/HER)
RVT
Krista is one of the smiling faces you’ve seen working with us since 2011. She graduated from St. Lawrence College and became registered as an RVT in 2008. She worked in Ottawa and Belleville before joining our little team.
She loves working with our patients in the surgical suite, and is the one who can keep everyone organized. No matter how hectic the day, she doesn’t lose her cool and is always advocating for our patients and their owners. One of her greatest rewards is to make a pet more comfortable and improve their quality of life.
Krista loves to garden, read and spend time with her family. She’s also a boss cake maker.

HANNAH (SHE/HER)
RVT
Hannah joined us as a St. Lawrence student during the pandemic, and we are so happy she stayed with us after graduating and earning her designation as one of our RVTs in 2021. As a native of the Kingston area, we’re sure she’ll agree that it’s worth the drive to Napanee!
Hannah is always there, quietly making sure the doctors stay on time, that the lab work is completed and our patients are comfortable in and after surgery. One of the rewards of this work for Hannah is supporting pet owners through difficult times.
She is an avid golfer, and loves to spend time with friends and family. Maybe a little travel, too. So far, she only has one dog, but we’re working on her 😉.

BREANNA (SHE/HER)
RVT
Breanna has a B.Sc. in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph, and earned her VT advanced diploma from St. Lawrence College in 2023. A native of Napanee, we are so excited she returned to work with us as one of the Registered Veterinary Technicians caring for your pets.
She’s been a great addition to our team, helping to make sure our laboratory and procedures rooms run smoothly. Bre enjoys advocating for patients and educating clients about their pets’ health.
When she’s away from the office, Bre enjoys camping and hiking with her dogs. Check out www.hankiesnpaws.com where she combines her design flair, photography and her sewing skills to make unique products for you and your fur family.

JASMINE (SHE/HER)
RVT
Jasmine graduated from St. Lawrence College and became an RVT in 2025 .
She enjoys providing hands on care to our patients, especially helping pets feel safe and comfortable during their visits. Whether assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthesia or providing comfort to nervous pets, she’s a great team player for her colleagues and our clients and patients.

MANDY (SHE/HER)
VT
Mandy graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Lawrence College in 2007 and worked in the Kingston area before joining us in 2020.
She is always ready to help out, can switch into emergency mode in the middle of a stride and can tire out even our most energetic veterinarians. The most rewarding part of the job, for Mandy, is working with senior patients, improving their quality of life, and helping keep them more comfortable at home. She also looks after our growing collection of plants.
She is a foster fur-mom extraordinaire, giving care and a temporary home to more than 50 dogs and 2 dozen cats, so far. She also loves reading, crocheting and other fibre arts, and regularly takes her dogs for long forest walks.

ALEXIS (SHE/HER)
VT
Alexis has been working with us since 2018. She has her B.Sc. in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph, and has recently graduated from the Veterinary Technologist program at St. Lawrence College.
She’s one of the voices on the phone and smiling faces at the reception desk, as well as a wizard with computers. Alexis is interested in any new cases or problems and wants to see how we solve them. She loves to hear stories from our clients of pets who recover, and how grateful they are that we could help them.
Outside of work, she loves to spend time at the barn with her horse, binge-watching tv shows, or sleeping.
