Our Client Care Representatives

ALISON (SHE/HER)

CCR

With a varied background including a diploma in Fire Investigation from Durham College, experience working in a dog boarding kennel and with large animals, Alison is one of the voices on the phone and the biggest smile at the reception desk.

Although new to veterinary medicine, her thirst for knowledge and quickness on her feet make her a perfect addition to our team. We’ve learned that the bigger the smile, the bigger the problem she’s working hard to solve. Alison enjoys helping owners and pets figure out their problems and watching the animals grow!

She loves to spend time with her family and pursuing a lifelong passion working with and riding horses.

Jenn

JENN (SHE/HER)

CCR

We are so happy Jenn joined us when she moved to the area from Peterborough in 2023 as we expand our client care team. With a background of 20 years in the veterinary field, she also has training as a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist Assistant and experience as an Activity Director in a retirement home.

Jenn joined us with a smile, and is eagerly meeting our clients and patients while learning a new software system and a unique type of scheduling. We so appreciate her drive to find a way to help any client who needs us.

When she’s not at work, Jenn spends time hiking with her dog, painting, knitting and travelling the world.

ROBIN (SHE/HER)

CCR

Robin joined us part-time in 2016, and we are so happy she did! With 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, she’s great at multi-tasking and adapting to change.

She focuses on making sure our beautiful facility is clean, tidy and odour-free. She also takes the time to look after her co-workers, all of whom she treats like family.

In her down time, Robin likes to relax at home with her family and (growing) clowder of cats.

DOROTHY (SHE/HER)

Emotional Support Coordinator

Dottie is our resident clinic cat. She joined the team with zero medical training but quickly mastered the most important skill in veterinary care, emotional support cuddles.

When she’s not sleeping in one of her many nap spots, you can find her perched in a sunny window bird watching, racing up and down the hallway with her toys, or politely harassing staff for food and treats.

While she doesn’t answer phones, she takes her role in keeping staff and clients smiling very seriously. If you’re lucky, she might even greet you at the door, hop up on your lap or ignore you completely. It depends on her day.
