KERISA (SHE/HER)

Kerisa has been with us since she attended St. Lawrence College and joined us as a student for her co-op. When she graduated with her Veterinary Assistant diploma in 2015, we were thrilled that she joined the team.

Kerisa knows how to fix almost anything. She’s always cheerful and ready to lend a hand to help keep our patients comfortable and our clients happy. Her best days are when she sees a pet improving with our care.

She is an artist, and loves the outdoors. You might find her painting, out on the lake or snowmobiling, depending on the season.

ERIN (SHE/HER)

VA

Erin has been with us since 2012, when she earned her Veterinary Assistant designation from St. Lawrence College.

She’s always ready to learn how to use new technologies, especially something that can help our patients and clients. She helps keep us organized, and can lighten the darkest days with her sense of humour.

A big fan of the TV series ‘Friends’, she even named one of her cats, ‘Chandler Bing’, after her favorite character. Erin also enjoys spending time with her family and taking her dog for walks.

LUCAS  (HE/HIM)

VA

Lucas has been with us since 2022 and we are so happy he’s here!

If Lucas is on duty, you might hear a jaunty whistle near the end of the day as he helps keep the facilities clean and tidy. He enjoys the opportunity to help beloved pets in need and is a great team member.

When not at work, he enjoys road-tripping, time with family and hobbies like gardening.

LEAH (SHE/HER)

VA

Leah has a background and training in culinary services, but her love of animals won out and she completed her Veterinary Assistant training at St. Lawrence College in 2023. She worked with us part-time as a kennel attendant before joining us in her current role.

You may see her smiling face in the outpatient area, as she does her best to keep the veterinarians running on time. She believes the most rewarding part of the career is that we get to make a difference in animals’ lives!

When she’s not at work, you can find her traveling, crafting or deep into a ” just one more episode ” situation.

HAILEY (SHE/HER)

VA

Hailey is another team member who joined us during high school. She did her co-op with us, then came back again in 2020 as a Veterinary Assistant, after graduating from the program at St. Lawrence College.

With her quiet demeanour and training in low-stress handling, Hailey is able to soothe nervous dogs and even the spiciest of cats. She is a huge asset in the examination room.

Hailey has several cats and a dog. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with them, doing bead work and relaxing at her camp.
