Faye Whyte and Onyx
DVM
You might find Dr. Faye dressing a nervous patient in a Thundershirt or using treats to distract a puppy from his injections. She once removed 28 cocktail toothpicks from a dog’s stomach.
Her pets include a dog named Champ, cats Ziggy Stardust and Ruby as well as a horse named Hula Hoop.
Erin & Marty
Veterinary Assistant
Erin does the best, quickest nail trims. One of the smiling faces you’ll see at the reception desk, she coordinates our special orders and keeps our calendar up-to-date. She will occasionally take a stray home over the weekend, as long as her cat Chandler doesn’t object.
Kerisa & Nevy
Veterinary Assistant
One of our Northbrook and front desk regulars, Kerisa helps the most nervous dog be a little braver.
When she’s not in the office, you might find her expressing her artistic side painting pet portraits or working with new craft ideas.
Chelsea and Marley
RVT
Chelsea has the patience and heart of a teacher.
She’s small but mighty, she’s been here through thick and thin and she’s our catheter goddess.
With her growing family and ‘just one more’ puppy, there’s no such thing as free time right now.
Sam, Illy & Nova
RVT
We were so glad to see Sam coming back home from Alberta with her new family, and we know if we ever see Bison, she’s our gal!
A horse girl from Odessa, she’s back in the saddle where her career started with us as a high school student.
Krista and Callie
RVT
If cat-herding were a sport, we know who would be the champion. With her organizing skills, Krista could plan a space mission, and we’re so glad she keeps us on track.
She does agility with Callie and rides horses.
Krista also has a soft spot for Yorkies and the occasional clinic cat, but don’t tell anyone!
Jennifer Weeks-Llera and Taylor
DVM
Originally hailing from New Brunswick, Dr. Jennifer Weeks-Llera is a thorough and patient clinician who has a special interest in behavior cases.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Jennifer enjoys spending her time riding her horse and enjoys competing in scent detection, rally obedience and agility with her 2 dogs.
Alexis & Soliel
Receptionist
We have yet to find a day that removes the smile from Alexis’ face. She’s really always that cheerful!
She loves pink, her horse Soleil and her cat Richie.
Alexis splits her time between here (home) and her new home at the University of Guelph. We can’t wait to see how far she goes!
Heather DeMille and Fluffy Leo
DVM
Dr. Heather loves cats. With a special interest in all things cat, she has recently completed an extensive 2 year distance-ed feline course through the University of Sydney, Australia. She especially can’t resist the urge to hold and cuddle kittens. She’s our go-to gal for orthopedic surgery and ophthalmology.
She also loves Star Wars, Lego and the Montreal Canadiens.
Robin & Dusty
Reception & Cleaning
She’s super-organized, always cheerful and has great fix-it skills. You might see Robin at the front desk on Saturdays, but making sure everything is ship-shape for the next day’s work is her super power.
When she’s not here, she’s keeping her busy family on schedule and in line.
Hannah & Georgie
Veterinary Technician
We threw Hannah into the deep end during the first shutdown of 2020, and she’s always risen to the occasion.
She loves spending time in surgery and learning new skills.
Her Red fox Lab, ‘Georgie’, takes her for walks and swimming trips on a regular basis.
London & Sommer
Veterinary Assistant
London’s patience and commitment to patient comfort shines through every day.
She spends her time away from the office travelling and with family and friends.
Her Australian shepherd cross, Sommer, is her best friend.
Mandy
Veterinary Technician
Mandy enjoys working with some of our more ‘challenging’ canine patients. She is also interested in senior pet care.
She enjoys crocheting, hiking and fostering pets.
Her dog ‘Liv’ helps her manage a household full of cats (5 at last count).
Very knowledgeable caring staff. You can feel their love for animals. Very accommodating on short notice.

The vets and staff here have been looking after our 3 cats for years. I believe the main reason our cats have lived so long and so well is the care they receive when I take them to the clinic either for their yearly checkup or if there's a problem.
Helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable, personable staff. Vets don't try to emotionally blackmail you into services or medicines that u cannot afford. Willing to work with you for the best for your pet and your budget.
Amazing staff! The best vets ever! These are people who care about you as much as your pet. The service is top quality. My snoopy had hernia surgery today and I couldn't ask for anything more than they did. He is doing great. Thank you Richmond Vet for all you do!
