If you haven’t experienced the lovely sensation of a furball cuddled against you on a chilly night or the soothing vibration of a cat purring, well, you don’t know what you’re missing.

Is it all pats and cuddles and antics? No. Getting a cat is also a responsibility, maybe for 15-20 years. There is extra cleaning and extra cost, arrangements to be made when you travel, and time to be spent playing.

Dr. Scott Weese, of the Worms and Germs Blog (and Professor at OVC) has a great summary of the things you should consider before you get a cat. Here is the pdf of Cat concerns.
